It's never going to be the 'next big thing' because it's a far more targeted market. It may well be popular within that market. Actually, if no-one asks me to be a pirate it might even interest me!

This could work, which is of course not the same as saying it will work. Times are a'changing.

A friend of mine recently got her AS in web development and then spent two months trying to find a job. The only things she was offered were in graphics design as appearently there aren't any jobs in her field around here. She posted an ad on Craigslist and is now up to her eyeballs in work. Business is working in new ways, and networking has always been critical for that, so maybe.
