I know a lot of people think that this is just milking it to death, but in my opinion the Halo universe still has a lot or rich story lines and potential for a few more things to add to its list. I'll buy this at some point to see what's happening but not going to be queuing on release.

As over hyped as the Halo series has been, they are all still very solid games. The first one was ground breaking, the second and third were not. I still enjoyed them all, but my favorite will always be the original.

This is definitely milking the Halo cow, but then again, Star Wars has been milked for ages with thousands of products and people still buy it. I'll definitely get this one just as I got the first 3 (and will get Halo wars as well) but it' surely not gonna make me wet my pants in anticipation.

QFT, I think the Halo universe is great, yeah I'm a little tired of MC and co., but there's much more they can do with it. Many say it's a pretty generic sci-fi setting, and I suppose it is, but for a game setting it's pretty fleshed out and it's one I like.

The first game was in no way ground-breaking. It was good but didn't do anything new. Its still a firm favourite of mine but I maintain that anyone who thinks Halo was original needs to brush up on their classic fps games.

I would agree if it weren't for the vehicles, they did a fantastic job of the vehicles, sure they had been in other games, but not handled so well as in Halo. Co-op in warthogs is what made the game so popular.

Stop milking the cow wasnt even a good cow when I compare Halo games to any half decent FPS they simply dont stand up, naff graphics, naff guns, expansive maps that all look the same, naff story and all the charisma of a Kia sedona (for those who know about cars)

I am one of the few that feels the Halo franchise is overhyped, even Halo 3. However...and its a big however, overhyped or not, the Halo games are all very solid and very good and I still struggle to find any even up to Halo 3's standard....its singleplayer, online play and all the extra's it has to offer, I have to say are very good and the game has allot of depth. Its still played by over 300'000 players over the weekends and people dont just play a game that isnt good that much.

Its a great game, overhyped and marketed allot but almost understandably I think.

This doesn't mean we won't see: a Halo film; more derivative Halo comics, novels, and stories; Halo merchandise and tight outfits; third-party Halo game projects and modifications; Halo animated television series, or Halo live-action or animated tie-in shorts à la Animatrix, or; Halo $3,000 super-duper-director's cut-unrated-remastered-collector's edition trilogy package with another Master Chief helmet.

There's more Halo, yet. The Halo universe has a lot of potential for fill-in stories. Just not from Bungie. Queue in Lucasarts purchasing the rights, then we're going somewhere.

wasn't Halo3 their very last Halo game? they lied!

Halo 1 multiplayer was very good, it's vehicles (as Veles said) made it stand out. but all the sequels are just milking the caw and it's been dry to the bones after Halo 3 was released.

now the real game is Crysis, nothing beats 3 tanks charging side by side in TIA. really shame about the lack of physics for Dx9 games. more Dx10 servers please!
