Nvidia to encourage partners to develop for Mac

http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2008/10...elop-for-mac/1

Nvidia has announced that it is to start pushing the Mac as a gaming platform with the The Way It's Meant To Be Played program.

Well if they develop games not just for Mac but for all Unix-based OS's, that in it self would be awesome. Mac's won't reach the regular OS in gaming, but it will get closer, specially with the Mac Books.

I for one would like to see this. Not so much that mac users will benefit so much, but more of the line of thinking, once it's coded for mac, will be a lot easier to code for *nix.

I have nothing against Macs per se. Hell, I even own an IPod, but I doubt I would ever shift over to the Mac unless I go into graphic editing or something. Even then I would keep at least one Windows based PC or laptop around for games. I have way too many games in my stock that won't run on a Mac to ever completely leave Windows.
