Intel exec rubbishes ARM chips
http://www.bit-tech.net/news/2008/10...es-arm-chips/1
An Intel executive at the IDF has claimed that all the iPhone's shortcomings come from the fact that the device is based on rival ARM's processor range.

So, they are jealous that not everyone uses their chips? sorry intel, but even atom is too big and power hungry for mobilephones.

Pah,
What I'm looking forward to looking at is nVidia's new ARM chip. They ran an eee off it, and they're talking of phones which use the chip... any more on that from you guys at bit-tech?

Bit late on this one? Intel has been on damage control for this for the last week.

What exactly is a 'Director of Ecosystems'? Do they have some sort of plant and animal infestation problem at their offices? Perhaps the infestation is even encouraged since it must be directed.
Sounds like a b*llsh*t position to me. Some VP's nephew needed a job perhaps???
