I sometimes buy a collection of games as part of a special offer, but just never get round to even taking the disc out to play them. I still have a pile of games I haven't even touched yet.

I've yet to look at Dawn of War, let alone install/play it. Company of Heroes took precedent over it, I'm afraid.

half my collection is unopened, i've got all the Dawn of war games, yet i've only ever played the first one for 2 hours, need for speed is another. Farcry 2 will probably have the same fate, as fallout 3 is going to be the big one this month lol

I've done that with special offer games, but nothing I have purchased individually. What would be more interesting would be the number of games you play once and then never again *cough* spore */uncough*

I would like to point you to this thread;

http://forums.bit-tech.net/showthread.php?t=159367

I feel the issue is with the plastic wrapping being too tricky to remove and they simply give up trying

I have an unopened copy of Saints Row 2 somewhere in the royal mail system (Or, more likely, an open copy in a royal mail employees house), same with Farcry 2. I've an unopened Assassins Creed limited edition (I snagged it from my local game for £20), and two or three other unopened things.

I have some unopened games but they were for collecting not playing. Duke3D shareware, Duke3D, FFI, Metal Gear, Resident Evil (original PS dvd case) and some other favorite series. I stopped collecting unopened games about when the 360 was first announced.

So does everyone else

The LE artbook was nice, though.

I have a copy of Shivering Isles as yet unused. It is to me as Dwarf Bread is to Terry Pratchett.

I've made a rather ridiculous habit of buying up Dreamcast and Gamecube games and accessories just because they're Dreamcast and Gamecube games and accessories I don't own - I don't particularly want them, but their scarcity has frightened me into parting with the odd fiver to purchase them.

As it stands, I've about 30 Dreamcast games and 15 Gamecube games I've bought but never played...

Nothing unopened here. I just can't resist. I'm biting into my nails not to open up my laptop just because of the warranty.
