Sony recalls 100,000 batteries

Sony has issued a product recall for around 100,000 laptop batteries that have an irritating tendency to bust into flames - and not for the first time.

To see if your battery is affected, take it out and look at one end. It should have a sticker that reads, 'Sponsored by Al Qaeda'.

Yeah but its not just Sony laptops that use their batteries, as the article says Toshiba, Dell & HP's to name but a few.

I'll have to check my Tosh just to make sure.

well then hes not buying a laptop period lol as many companies use Sony Batteries in their laptops.

these batteries were produced in 2004. Apparently Sony changed how they manufactured them.
