The CE version of Lich King has a lot of nifty things in it. I am happy that I preordered it cause I want the nifty mouse pad and the awesome in-game pet

Ooooh. Hmm...

No. No, I'm poor enough already, don't do it, dammit.

I AM gonna buy an Illidan mousemat next week though, they're pure awesome:

Illidan always seemed > Lich King in basic coolness terms, to me.

Illidan is cool, and the Warglaives he uses are pretty sweet, but I think that Arthas is a B.A. and Frostmourne > Azzinoth's Blades

I'm all about looks, not stats, and the Warglaives look absolutely killer ^_^

Similarly, if I had this I'd still wear it, even though it's pre-BC 60 gear, just cos it looks SO good:

Oh, and not forgetting the set you have to sacrifice to get it:

We get it, you don't like WoW. Now next time you see a thread about it feel free to not bother posting in it.

His last post is right though, the vast amount of immature children on there is so annoying, hence why I use an RP server which 90% of the time is much more mature. The big bulk of the game is repetitive and can be frustrating.

Also, don't quote me to being a WoW hater, I love the game and have respect for the people that have big achievments in the game and those that are exemplary at it, but there is no taking away from the fact that it has some big downsides; downsides that are not only the games fault, but ours to.

I think he was talking about mat-ster, who seems to hate WoW so much he can't contain himself

The userbase on the game is annoying. It breaks the immersion completely. I've never tried an RP server, though, the idea just seems too weird...

Not understanding this theory that WoW is any more addictive than any other game. Sometimes I play it constantly, and sometimes I can go weeks without playing it... pretty much just like any other game in other words. Maybe it's because A) I'm not a child, and B) I have interesting things to do outside of WoW.

(Shrug)

Anyhooo.... anyone else think the Death Knight quests were worth the £17.99 alone???

WoW is like windows...

- People who hate it go around spreading all the propaganda about how terrible it is, and how loathe they are for it.
- People who love it just go about their business.

WoW only has the bad rep it does because a few weak willed people have trouble with their play time then go on the internet and spam everybody who doesn't care about how wow ruined their lives and how it will do the same to you too.

WoW isn't evil, I know alot of people who have no problem quitting for the day and going out with freinds. The leader of the most hardcore guilds in the world is a Lawyer!

back on topic
Collectors Edition? You get the cool whelp pet! I can't afford £50 though

The death knight quests were amazing! When you go to hide in the cart thing! And then with the showdown at LHC!!!! awesome!

Oh, and on the graphics issue... there is no graphics issue. Everything works well, the movement of the characters is good, its a very well put together game. Just because it doesn't have super pixel shading x10000, because its designed in a cartoony way, IN THE STYLE OF WARCRAFT, does not a bad game make.

I also agree that people who hate wow should stay out of wow threads, unless its a thread called "I hate wow, all wow haters in here please".

Two respectful questions (subtitles: Ihavelostallrespectforyouandyouareirritatingmewith yourpersistentdogmatism):
First, why do you feel obliged to continually 'warn' people about the risks of Warcraft, and second, why do you keep doing that...that...thing with the font colours? Okay, I get it. Warcraft uses coloured value denoting just like in casinos. What does that show?
