Activision admits that the popular video Bike Hero is actually viral advertising, not the work of skilled amateurs.

I saw this two days ago and I did think wow that is pretty damn awesome! I did think at the time it looked a little 'too' awesome... but tbh I did want to believe that it had been done by some chavs with far too much time :-p

It's still an awesome vid though IMO

I was trying to figure out how it had been done, easiest way i can think of is that the led lights on the handlebars were flashing at the right timing for the respective colours in the song they then added the note markers afterwards with some digital trickery...

I don't mean to brag or anything, but it was pretty obvious it was a fake/marketing stunt. Had I believed it, I would think it was cool! (The business side of it all kind of takes away the joy for me :P )
