GTA IV PC to have 32-player multiplayer

Rockstar has announced that among the updates and improvements to the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 4 is support for extra players.

due to it being GTA4 I woudlnt be suprised if some happy code monkeys worked thier way around "Games for Windows Fail"

hah, Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas has sopported up to 40 players since uhm... well a long time

I'm looking forward to this for real. I hope that Games for Windows stuff is bearable!

Its a mess.
For the full experience you need to have:
Securom is needed for online authentication, although this time it has no limited activations. Steam version also comes with it.
Another trademarked 2008 NO BUY from me.

the game is available to be purchased through steam, but the online features are provided (managed? not sure what to call it) by windows live.

i think this one is going to be a torrent for me, i am not going to give rockstar money so they can treat me like a criminal. hopefully online play will work in the cracked version.
