Very interesting indeed, handy if a little on the small side.
(he says typing from his 8.9" netbook)

Wow, that looks badass. Another interesting Lenovo design.

Shame they won't make a decent desktop monitor with that kind of dot-pitch...

Very interesting.
I've been toying with the idea of doing something similar myself to an old Dell notebook I've got stuffed in a drawer somewhere. I was thinking about making a triple-screen foldout solution, but we'll see what becomes of it.

That looks like a serious piece of kit! Liking the all in one nature of the design - I can see that getting a lot of sales. Funny to think that the screen I'm typing on (EEE 901) is actually smaller than the secondary screen on that beast haha!

the 2/3 laptop screen setup makes them more and more like desktop replacements what belongs to the desk.

imagine putting that on your lap, and try to balance it! the whole point of laptop was to be mobile, now you get less performance from desktop, more expensive, smaller screen and stationary just like a desktop. (same argument for "gaming" laptops)

Yup, with a significantly reduced battery life! THIS IS JUST WHAT I WANTED, kind of.
