There isn't really a need for another Rock Band for a while now, all they need to do is keep on with the DLC and every now and again release a music pack similar to the songs you get in RB1 and 2 with lots of varying artists and difficulties.

I'm still only really waiting for Resident evil 5 (y'know, the one set in Africa ) as well as call of duty: modern warfare 2.

Sounds like good news to me.... New songs will always be available via DLC, Rock Band 2 is perfect as it is and doesn't need a sequel so soon.
Also... EA really do seem to be getting their act together, new IP, canceled Need for speed sequels, longer development times etc. Activision in the mean time are becoming like EA were!
