I suggest they make her fun, I think most of their share was taken away by Naughty Dog...

What else do Eidos make nowadays?

Redesign the entire game. Bring PopCap onboard, create Peggle Raider Extreme and sell it to bored housewives.

At least they didn't blame piracy... yet.

Tomb Raider: Underworld is neither a bad game (though the Wii and PS2 versions are significantly worse than the "current gen" versions), nor did it sell badly. What needs to be changed are the expectations that the Eidos suits have.

Another radical redesign isn't going to help the series. Just let Crystal Dynamics do their job. Give them more time to put out a slightly longer game and work out the kinks (e.g. the bad camera).

boob jokes aside, I also think that the game wasnt that bad as some say, i kinda liked the game, the problem is Eidos's expectations, one thing they should have considered is that they released the game in a not so great time (economy was bad, and alot of other good games were sold along side its release).

There hasn't already been redesign of the game or character or plot or whatever, well... apart from Angel of Darkness but that doesn't count as a game because it was terrible. Legend, however, was simply bringing the series back to its roots.
And to those who say the game is what needs a redesign not the character because the game is bad, I couldn't disagree more with you. Especially with the new ones where the controls are very easy now, Tomb Raider games are fantastic adventure/exploring games imo - if you love Uncharted for example, then you should at least like this.
BUT, the main problem lies with the character. She is far too unappealing for the people who would typically want to play this type of game, her back story is lame, and she tries to be taken seriously but fails at it. And therefore I think that a redesign of Lara Craft is overdue, but I just hope they do it right.

crystal dynamics has done a fine job in bring tr back to where it should be,lara looks great and the pc controls couldn't be easier. her moves could be fine tuned some but lara needs some excitment in her character and needs to kick a$$ more! all this exploring makes the game quit tame so they need to inject more drama.

I must admit I liked the previous TR... the main thing which stopped me buyign this one was the flood of Chrimbo games and Eidos poor desision to release it at this time.

Too much choice and too small a wallet or time to play them all.

I'd welcome a fresh look at the game from the team but hope it doesn't result in a bog standard by the numbers release to please the uncaring general public.

So long as they keep Alison Carroll, they can do what they want with the game!

Beautiful rich girl that goes on dangerous adventures to find rare artifacts that bad guys want for some evil power. What are the going to change? Maybe they'll add a lame side kick with witty humor that gets old after the first 30mins. Maybe she'll be true to the times and here house forecloses. Ooo wait maybe they'll RETIRE her.

Perhaps the sales were so bad for the same reason I didn't by the latest TR (Or the last 4 either), I'm just sick and tired of seeing and hearing about Lara Croft.

I liked the first Tomb Raider way back when on the original Playstation, and the second one was good too, but when the franchise became more about tits and ass than gameplay, I drifted off and found something more interesting to do.

If I want T&A, I'll DL a porn film thanks, at least they are real women I'm looking at.

That's not to say I don't like sexy or adult themed games/characters, I am male after all , but when it becomes the thing they use to sell something rather than an actual enjoyable gaming experience (Anyone remember Lula: The sexy empire? Or whatever it was called.), then I look for something else.
