thats a nice case you have! i am fairly new to water cooling as well but when i was learning i just used google and you tube! lots of good vids out there!!!

if u want to start yourself then you should have a think about your cooling loop! installing everything is fairly straight forward...

Here is my Intel QX9650 CPU before Lapping.


This is what it looks like after Lapping with 400/600/800 and then 1200 grit papers. It should be smoother but i couldn' t get any 1500/2000 papers on friday so i stopped here.
I'll be buying the finer papers soon. I'll add another photo after lapping has been finished.

 

The right 1 is bones's Lian li case. He'll be adding a Radiator on the bottom of the case.
The left 1 is mine and the radiator is going on top of the case.

Yah Ton.. me and bones both feel very cold so we perfer do it indoor. everynight take us 1 hour to clean everything up. The Big Vacuum cleaner is in 1 of the photo too.

Hi All readers. Today i was trying to take all the heatsinks out and puting on my EK Blocks but i accidentally broke (pull out ) one of the leg of a inductor. I've been trying to look for it but dont know where i can find excet 1s. can anyone please help.


This is the 1 i broke.



Its Called 1r0 820 mha inductor

by the way, my motherboard is Rampage Extreme Motherboard X48

 

Can't you just add a bit of solder or super glue + solder paint to fix it?

 

i was trying to.. but cannot. because it is broken from right on top. i can see the outsite pin but nothing inside. it wont solder on. the best is to buy a same inductor. . does anyone knows where i can look for 1?>

 

why dont you hit it with some super glue so it stay's on then get it rma'd

No, but you can put it back on and send it off.

 

I know but i dont wanna do that. feel bad. it was my fault breaking it anyways.
I think i should just wait and see if anyone can help me find the same inductor so i can change it myself.

Its not a very big damage but its just that you cant find this inductor anywhere. .

 

Might as well RMA it, oterwise you are £200 out of pocket, but if you really don't want to, get the soldering iron out boy!
