Oh that DVI connector brings back fond memories. I made a right-angled DVI-VGA adapter a few years back. Just poked in the wires, dumped on a LOT of glue-gun glue, and viola! worked like a charm.
Dunno what could be wrong with yours, though.

sorry to be a nit-picker, but I think you have the PSU fan the wrong way round - the fan itself is the intake, and it exhausts out of the mesh on the "back"

Unless you have a different PSU than normal or you've opened it and reversed the flow direction...

Then again, this is also assuming you don't want to pull the air downwards into the PSU across the heatsink first....

Great looking case and very interesting idea!

I managed to fix the DVI connector

It was just one of the wires that was very slightly loose, so I added a bit more solder and it worked!

Your right ChaosDefinesOrder PSU's normally take in air through the fan and out the mesh, however since the fan is temperature controlled then if the PSU is only abit warm the fan might not spin fast enough, so I'm going to mod it to reverse the air flow and add a speed controll. I may also just take the fan out and stick in a bought silent speed controlled 12cm fan.

Heres the second DVI socket:

Heres some pictures of the final connections panel:

In addition to the completion of the connections panel, the screws for all the frame work arrived today:

I should have some pics of the frame work tomorrow.

From my local hardware store. If you go down to your local hardware store they might be able to order some for you like my store did. They are M4 screws.

They are quite expensive at 50p per screw by the way.

Today all I had time for was to cut out the sections of bar for the drive bays:

The next stage will be to drill holes into the ends of those sections and tap them using a tap wrench:

A ball catch will also be placed into the middle of each bar section using the same method as before. The sections of bar will then be screwed onto the flat bar shown in the picture below on the right:

That is how the frame is going to made. I'll just have enough time tomorrow to drill and tap wholes into the small bar sections. And the rest of the frame should be completed over the weekend.

I tested to see whether the motherboard would fit in the case today, unfortunately I didn't realise that the PCI PCB board goes past the metal bracket which ment that the side panel didn't fit on .

So I had to spend most of today removing the bought motherboard tray from my made one. I then had to drill the many holes for the motherboard to screw into:

Thankfully with the bought motherboard tray remove the PCI cards just fit in, they even touch the side panel thats how close a fit it is. Now I just need to buy a smaller tap to give the holes a screw thread.

However because I didn't have a small enough tap I decided to make my air funnel thing for the PSU:

I made it by cutting sections out of acrylic using a bandsaw, I then glued the sides together. I still need to make another panel for the pipe side of the funnel with holes drilled into it to allow the rubber coolant tube to enter and exit:

However as the funnel is going to be attached to the motherboard tray I need to workout how long the entrance and exit tube must be. Therefore the funnel side panel is going to be fitted once I've got my water cooling system.

To improve the appearance of the funnel I'm going to prime, and paint it to fill in the gaps between each side. I will then glue it to the motherboard tray. As I'm saving all the priming and painting till last I decided to proceed on with the drive bays.

In order to drill the holes into the drive bay frame supports I used a Drill press:

I made large holes in the center of the bars for the ball catches and small holes in each end. The small holes were then tapped to create a screw thread so that the bar can be screwed onto the frame:

Hopefully tomorrow I should be able to get the rest of the frame finished. The lovely black gloss paint for the case arrived today aswell:

Sorry about the delay between the last update, I've only just got the time to create another reply. Anyway today I managed to get most of one of the drive bay frames completed, however I've stopped before finishing it as I'm not happy with the level of support it gives the drives:

The frame itself is made from aluminium bar screwed together, however I've come up with a better and easier design. I'm going to scrap that frame and make a new one from right angle aluminium and bar. My plan is to have the right angle running all the way along each corner of every drive, the right angle will then be held in position with aluminium bar.

As I'm going to have to order some more materials to create the new frame I moved onto the removable side panel frame. First I placed the ball bearings and there springs into the holes I drilled into the aluminium bar I'm using for the removable panel:

I then glued a peice of aluminium onto one end of the ball bearing hole:

I haven't made the bars look very nice as only one of the sides will be visible as you can see from the picture below:

I attached the connections panel to the case today. I first used the two part glue I usually use to secure the panel to the case:

I then covered the panel connections with masking tape and pasted filler into the gap between the panel and the case:

Once the filler had set I used sandpaper to remove any excess filler:

Its still needs more filler but I will add that later in the final stages. So I moved onto the motherboard tray. I managed to find the correct tap for the screws that came with my old case. I used the tap and some 3 in one oil to create a screw thread in the motherboard tray:

I then moved onto creating the frame for the removable side panel. I used a MIG welder to attach the bars together:

It didn't turn out very neat as welding aluminium is rather difficult, however with a bit of filing I got this:

With abit of filler and some paint in the final stages I think it should look perfect.

All the parts for my water cooling system arrived today except the pump/reservoir which I've had to order from a different company because the store I got the water blocks from had no pumps in stock:

The only thing I had time for today was to work a little bit on the PSU fan funnel. To finish off the structure of it I glued the final panel onto the side. The panel was cut using a bandsaw. I then milled out a hole (using the drellel) on the front of the funnel for the coolant pipes to enter and exit. I then used a small round file to smooth it all off:

I will have alot more free time tomorrow and the aluminium angle should be arriving, so I should be able to get quite alot more done tomorrow.
