Hello Bit-Tech! My name is Ian and I hail from xtremesystems to post my new project following permafrost! I hope you guys enjoy seeing my work and I look forward to hearing your comments.

Well guys the time has come for my big reveal of what I have been working towards for the past few months!

I know some/most of you are familiar with my build, PermaFrost, which was awarded a spot on the Million Dollar PC. Well that build I accomplished two goals, one to be recognized by the aforementioned website and two to achieve a build that would allow me to seek sponsors and make a passion that drained my bank account into one that is sustainable and able to flourish.

So first I will introduce my initial sponsors (list to grow, haven't even begun to seek my hardware sponsors, yet)

    [IMG] [IMG]

Lamptron will be sponsoring a Custom made FC-3 controller and lighting for this build!

Lian-Li has sponsored me with this Wonderful PC V-2110b case that I should be receiving in the next several days.
    [IMG] [IMG]

Gilgamesh will be supplying me with one of the first PA 140.3 radiators off of the production line!

I hope you guys are as excited as I am about this, I have some cool concepts that I will be implementing into this one and hopefully some partnerships with some of the other top modders to make it outstanding.

    cheers,

    -Ian H

    Do you fabricate stuff yourself?
I can help but look at the height of that thing and think that the *entire* front would make for a VERY cool radiator.

Hey sniipe, glad to see that you made the jump over here.

At least you're guaranteed the forums will be up more than 50% of the time ;)

Thanks for the compliments guys, sorry about the extremely slow progress . I am at RPI (college) still right now which means I have limited to NO modding tools, no drill, no rivet gun and no nibbler so basically I'm screwed :D.

I will be headed to the waterjet cutter sometime this week for sure and once that's done I will be able to take the front ALU pieces to the bending brake fo modification and then start disassembly and other chassis modifications before the parts go to powdercoat/auto painter (need to source one in mass, but I think I have a guy) :thumb::thumb:

    cheers,

    -Ian

A awesome start, love the design.

Your other mod wouldn't happen to be PermaFrost would it ;), an awesome mod. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

more coming as I rebuild the photo set to work better on a day to day basis - the banks I were using were too small to shoot anthing glossy properly ;)

    FC 4890
    [IMG]

EK DDC pump top v2 installed - Immaculate machining quality on this part, I was very impressed.

    EK Supreme

    Disassembled
    [IMG]

Back together with the AM3 mount plate  I left the accelerator plate out of the block to reduce restriction
    [IMG]

Also, for those actually reading the text, I have gained unlimited free access to a 12hp CNC router at my girlfriend's father's Factory that i am working at as a CAD designer this summer

    cheers,

That really is a very nice looking mobo, performs well also. That block is gonna look fantastic on the mobo, very nice.

Congratz on the CNC usage, you are very lucky.
