I did enjoy the energy drink round up. Where did you get hold of those though?! I'm sure JOLT et al. is not available in the UK...maybe it should be. There seems to be adequate demand from tech folk.

Maybe Maplin should sell it.

If i can make a request, can you try and have some kind of backing music in the podcasts, and maybe a better mic? The levels are still a bit dodgy, and those awkward silences (there are ALOT) just drag on. Royalty free music is availible all over the place, newgrounds have some good stuff i think. A CPC jingle competition would be awesome if they used it at the start of the podcast.

Other than that, love the podcast (especially since i won some t-shirts ) and get the next one out soon!

Backing music? bad idea. I want to be able to hear what they're saying.

it doenst need to be invasive.

Like on radio1, they have quiet music to fill the gaps when they dont talk for a second or 2.

I think what you're talking about are the couple of podcasts where there are quite big silences (10 seconds or more)... These were supposed to have music in - but we made a mistake in Garageband and for some reason it didn't mix in the music track.

This podcast is on the internet, right? Because if so there can be no girl!!

Also: if the podcast doesn't begin with "Ryan" I don't want to know...

^^
What he said only slightly less camp.
Got to say tho guys this podcast should be at least three hours long to make up for the lack of recent casts.
Whoever edits it will probably kill me for suggesting that tho.
P.S actually quite like the smilies on this site.

What's all this 'we', eh? No gaps in the pods I've edited :b

music beds (quiet-ish funky background music) and other radio-esque additions are something I've been thinking of a while. Listening to some other pods, beds tend to sound a bit naff and try-hard though, so it's not something we're going to commit to.

Just need to clear a heap of Reviews work and sort a few other things out and I'll be able to start playing around and see what's practical technology- and skills-wise.

The mic situation is fixed though - Shure has sent us some great mics that kill a lot of the clicks and pops that we used to have (and which took ages to edit out).

Is the next podcast going to be extra long?
Best not use the incredibly high bit rate of #25. I couldn't even fit that one on my phone
