As for comments about your podcasts not fitting on phones. 2Gb card for my SE so I am happy to have a higher bitrate!!

Can we have AAC format BTW?

I had O2 15Mb broadband setup a couple of months ago just to download it... So hurry it up guys!!

30 mins should be enough for any podcast (imo). Short, sweet, enough while you're taking the train. You'd die of boredom for 3.5hrs of whitter.

I quite happily lay in bed listening to the 1.5 hour "modcasts" from ModDB. The longer the better!!

No way! Not everything plays AAC, but pretty much everything does play MP3.

Actually I've really enjoyed the ones that are about an hour long. Long enough to have some real meat to them, but not so long that you start to get bored.

Mine only has 80mb and can't be increased. However I fully recognise that I am a minority and I don't seriously expect a podcast to be limited by file size. It was more of a joke comment when I said that.

Since i got my BlackBerry Bold (and 8Gb mSD card ) I've been really getting into my podcasts, so it will be great to have the CustomPC one return to the fold. And for what it;s worth 1-1.5 hours is a good time in my book, but just take it as it comes, don't try to stick to any rigid time frame.

Hi guys, nice forum you've got here. Two things:

a) Yes! bring back the podcast -

b) Some music can do a lot to make a podcast sound better IMHO e.g. the PCGamer (US) podcast (much as the "bunch of nerdy guys chatting in a room" thing is endearing).

Sifter3000 will become famous soon enough

The studio* is set. The script is written. Clive is practising his catchphrases. A recording date has been set. And the new podcast will be out soon...

* That's actually not our podcast studio, it's Abbey Road.

Nope, not a bean. Intel's gone very quiet on it. I suspect there might be some more info kicking around at Computex (start of June) though...

Hmmm. My flight to Libya is four and a half hours. Minus an hour for take off and landing, minus an hour for food, so two hand a half hours would be perfect.

For subscribers it's out now! And there are two of them - hope that makes up for the fact we didn't get it done in time for your flight, L3v.

There'll be an article up on the front page of bit-tech announcing it on Sunday, too.
