Boom! Something for the weekend, in the shape of Series 3, Episode 3. I laughed while editing it, hopefully it comes across as a funny one. I also figured out a better setting on the compression filter in Garageband so the voices are all a lot more even than before (it's still a touch on the quiet side overall I think, but the quality of the settings should mean it's much more listenable in terms of audio quality).

Enjoy!

Excellent timing, I'm actually looking forward to working on a Saturday now so I can listen to this on the commute!

If you've got iTunes it's available now, and it's on the old CPC site - it'll go live on bit-tech tomorrow (it's Sunday's piece of content).

The CPC site still has it's uses then. Podcast priority.

Yeah, we'll hopefully be adding the ability for bit-tech to power the podcast later in the summer - it's technically able to, it's just the feature isn't exposed to us in the CMS yet, AFAIK.

Will my old CPC live bookmark still work then or will I need to set up a new one?

Should still work - none of the feed addresses have been changed.

Given that most cars only have an aux socket in their radio for MP3 player, I agree you should look at car computing again.
MP3's for the driver and DVD's (maybe played from a HDD/SSD) for children in the back. Cab you get a DAB radio tuner for PC's? Most cars don't have DAB and it's only a matter of time until analogue signals are turned off. Plus satnav software of course.

Good podcast as usual guys, keep 'em coming!

I was having a look through my old back issues and found the one where you launched the podcast... and promised to try and do one per issue of the magazine

New podcast tomorrow. We're trying something slightly different with this one, which we hope will enable us to make the more regular

RE: Baldur's Gate challenge.

Pah, I've done that a few times. Mainly as a fighter or thief. I find mages are too easily killed when you aren't with your group. Druids are the most pointless characters out there.

Really enjoyed it, I think the idea of splitting them will work quite well.

As someone who put many a pound coin in HOTD I'd love to hear an arcade gaming podcast, maybe as part of a retro gaming one.

Do they? My work involves me getting a hire car about 2 or 3 times a month, most of which are pretty new, and I've yet to have one with an aux socket. It's probably available as an optional extra the lease companies haven't taken up, but I think that you're overstating the commonality of the sockets. Which is a shame as those radio transmitter things are usually pants.

Fantastic podcast, great work chaps.

Listening to Alex stick it to PCZone was a real laugh. I wonder if they'll retaliate?

Even more reason to do an article on in car computing then.
