The forum is hosted elsewhere (thanks to the iD peeps for this). This is due to the way the magazine forums are at the moment doesnt allow for the server admin a private forum or moderator powers at this time.


Server rules

No cheating.
No racism, abuse of other players or excessive/abusive cursing.
Inappropriate sprays (e.g. porn, decoy sprays...)
Deliberate team wounding/attacking or killing.
Offensive/stupid payer names are not allowed.
Camping is frowned upon. Admins will encourage you to move.
Recruiting is not permitted.
Advertising is not allowed.
Being a general all-round pain in the ass to those who are here to enjoy the game.

Server info

AWP is restricted.
Votemap, voteban, votekick and so on are disabled.
Rank system is disabled.
There is no betting.
Server is running zBlock and Steambans.

FAQ

Q: How do I enable/use the console?
A: Go to options > Keyboard > Advanced… > ‘Enable console’

Upon pressing the default console key (~ or ´) the GUI will become available. Here you can input commands etc.

Q: What should my rates be and how do I change them?
A: Type: “rate 25000”, “cl_updaterate 66” and “cl_cmdrate 66” into the console (remove quotes.)

Q: Is there an official CustomPC clan I can join?
A: No. However some members of the Custom PC community do use a CPC| prefix to their player name.

Q: Why can't I join a team?/Why am I being kicked?
A: The CSS server is running zBlock, if your rates are too low or too high you will be kickedwhen you try to join a team.

Its been a long long time since i logged into bit forums! Be good to see some of Bit guys on the server, its a happy fun place, come along and have a play! Gets fairly busy in the evenings so get in early!

No offence, but I mean... this is something for servers that children play on. When GG were running servers, there was no restriction on any weapons and we got along just fine.

As a league team's awper I find it sad that people can't just accept it as a part of the game, fair or unfair, public server or match.

Meh, I'll go on the CSS server some time later this week and see what everyone's got.
