Order of War Preview

http://www.bit-tech.net/gaming/pc/20...-war-preview/1

The first truly western RTS to come from Square Enix, Order of War is developed by Wargaming.net and offers some truly spectacular graphics - but can the gameplay match? We take a look at this Japanese take on WWII to see if it's worth going AWOL for.

i for one would have enjoyed a square enix rpg aimed mainly at a western audience. anything but a WW2 RTS though it just turns me off immediately

This is the first time I've seen you guys do this: "Platform: PC Exclusive"

Why isn't it enough to just say "Platform: PC" ? Are you *trying* to fuel arguments about platform?

Nope, it's just because it's only on PC. If Microsoft call an Xbox 360 only game an Xbox 360 exclusive and Sony, Nintendo likewise then I don't see why the same can't be true for us - we've been doing it for a year or so at least.

Why can't they make games about more politically and socially controversial games like....the Vietnam or the Forgotten War, the Korean War?

Pork and horseradish sounds rather good to me, I have only ever had horseradish with beef (yum!)
Beef does get all the best little extras: horseradish, Yorkshire puddings...

After writing this article, the Square Enix PR rep actually sent me some pictures of pork belly sandwiches too.
