The CEO of Tecmo Koei has admitted repeatedly asking Sony to lower the price of the PlayStation 3.

Not really surprising... everyone wants a PS3 price cut.

Except Sony, of course. They're still losing quite a chunk on each console sold.

Then again, I still would have bought my PS3... Disgaea 3. Enough said.

Anyone with Google access knows why Sony won't drop the price. It sells for less then it costs to build and Sony has lost 4 BILLION dollars since its release. What kind of company CEO in the gaming industry doesn't know this kind of info? hmmm

Alot of people say it was expensive because of Bluray player but didn't Sony create Bluray Disc and set the price as they pleased.

serves them right for trying to punt blu-ray on us all, Sony`s own personal media format.

Remember its a money making industry not a games industry to these guys, whatever they tell you.
