Is it one photo per day in this thread, or one photo per day, per member?
Here are mine, if they're not supposed to go here, I'll edit them out. ![]() ![]() Technically they're not today's shots, but I missed this thread.

Make sure the camera is on continuous auto-focus - with a moving target it'll need to keep re-adjusting. Mount the camera on a tripod too - it really helps. |

It's a single exposure with an ND grad filter. I turn all saturation and contrast down in the camera so that I don't get overblown highlights on the histogram (which is derived from the JPG). I then make a second exposure once I've got the one I'm happy with so that I can add the colour/saturation back in in a way which is true to the original scene.
![]() EDIT: this one is straight out of Camera RAW with no adjustments: http://forums.bit-tech.net/album.php...pictureid=6946

I hope those two things aren't bizarrely related.
![]() What type of boxes are those? My westcott 28" box just recently frustrated me by not staying open. I'm sure it's an easy fix but I had to run to the car and get a shoot-through umbrella because of it.

They come as a kit, but I ordered the boxes and the bracket separately to make sure I got the newer mk2. is the Westcott one with tent poles?
