For some reason Ferrari press pics always make good cars look like ass. I dunno how others see the California, but I think it's MUCh sexier in person.
I have the same hopes for this baby.

Seems a shame to see the Scud go, though. Now that was one car I really liked.

I think a similar thing happens when people see a picture of a hot girl and say "meh" But when they see them in real life, they lose their $hit, so to speak.

I tend to agree partially.
The California DID look better in moving pictures than on photos (can't comment on real life - haven't seen any yet). Sam with the 360 and the 430. The Enzo, on the other hand...... not sure about that one. But that might be because i don't like the Enzo in the first place.

As for the hot girl analogy - disagree there, but ya... not on subject, that one.

That would depend on how many of these they move... anywhere between list price now and slightly below, to around 2-3 times list price now.
It all boils down to how much of a "classic" this is set to become.

Large volume Ferrari's can be picked up for about £40-45k within 8-10 years of release. You have to wait a long time before they become classics and start shooting back up again.

Atm the F430 is about £75k for a 2005 model, the 360 is about £35-50k depending on the age now too.

Okay... car prices in europe are _way_ different to what they are here... i keep noticing that.
35K GBP will pretty much buy you a second hand (read 2005 ish) Lotus Elise here...

new Exige S here (that's to say in South Africa, no Lotus dealers in NAM) ~ 660K without anything that you could possibly accessorise onto that. That's around 51K GBP

Lotus also holds value here incredibly. 3 years old, 80K (~6200GBP) less than new.
