Nowhere near the awesomeness of P.U.L.S.E in FLAC.

Waking up and feeling that today was a good day for the first i=time in weeks. Not even my formative assessment can get me down today.

Quit smoking 4.5 weeks ago, still going strong with that, not even missing it much.
It's my BDay later this month, which means Brutal Legend most likely. After that it's XMas, which means bonus pay, which means hopefully something new to play with - be it a PC upgrade or a Canon Eos or an HDTV or a notebook... one of those... |

Time to bump this back to top of page:
One thing that's AWESOME in my life right now is that i seem to actually be appreciated in my job here. I clash with the bosses (who want everything done IMMEDIATELY and just want the quick fix) a LOT (me wanting to do a proper job rather than a quick fix). However, so far, it's worked out, and i am making great progress without half the comebacks that my predecessors had... i think that abso-bloody-lutely rules.

Scored in the top 10% of my formative assessment, despite doing very little work. Yay!

An interesting job opening that I'm supposed to apply for!
/Snip Watch Officer/Intelligence Engineer to perform Watch Officer crew duties on a 24/7 watch schedule at the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Intelligence Watch Center located in the MDIOC. Candidate is required to perform all-source analysis of intelligence information on world-wide ballistic missile, space launch vehicle, and other threat systems of interest to MDA. Candidate is required to maintain an in-depth knowledge of foreign ballistic missile systems and to utilize classified and open source automated equipment to research, prepare and disseminate a wide variety of intelligence products. The Watch Officer must be responsive to time critical, fast turn requirements and requests for information (RFI) from a multitude of customers and will be required to coordinate and interact with national intelligence agencies and Combatant Commander intelligence centers. He/she will be required to brief flag-level personnel on a regular basis and may be required to conduct a limited amount of travel in support of the DOSI-West mission. /snip Now that's an interesting job I think john
