What's 20p indeed but the offers on steam are like that every time, hell look at the PS3 slim $299 £249 and 299 euro's, that's $420, the two currency don't even compare, poor euro users get bum raped. How come the euro price is 99% the same as the USD price? That's like theft :O

Yep.
Thats why Euro players usually buy games directly from the UK online retails stores.
Play.com, Amazon.co.uk, DVD.co.uk, etc. Lot cheaper.
Steam is no longer a viable store, just a decent DRM implementation.

Additionaly, since the UK game market gets all these non-UK consumers, it looks larger than it really is, and stores seem to be able to make better deals with the publishers.

X-Com (or UFO: Enemy Unknown as the series was previously called in Europe) is great if you're into strategy/management. Not really my cup of tea, though, even at this price.

The Freedom Force pack, on the other hand... Sure, it's strategy of sorts, but the games were created by Irrational Games of System Shock, Thief etc. fame. Must get this even if I'll probably never play the games.

I've since bought and played Toki Tori (posted details above). I like it, but that is more to do with the fact they are asking for the price of a half a pint. If I really recommended it I would say definitely buy it for your kids if not yourself for a bit of platform nostalgia. I thought I was quite clever but my brain collapsed on the first bonus level ... It's an indie game, kinda cute, cleverer than me and deserves support!

I bought Toki Tori, the first set of maps were easy, I'm stuck on 2 of the early castle maps (Creepy Castle 6 - cannot see how to beat this one). Enjoyable platformer though.
