You can get Killing Floor for Steam on Mac if you go on the Tripwire Forums they are looking for testers.

Other than Braid and Portal, I don't see anything interesting there.

    If that's the full list, why aren't L4D2, HL2, TF2 etc. listed...

portal = source engine, so expect CS:S, HL2 and L4D series to arrive at some point as well.

Tales of Monkey Island? World of Goo? Peggle?

strange, my housemate has Plants vs Zombies on his Mac, yet it's not on Steam's list.

this is great news, Source engine soon. and if Killing Floor is also ported, then Unreal Engine 2.5 will also be on there, UT2004 :)

only thing im puzzled is how can Mac user play Portal with their single button mouse? even the latter mighty and magic mouse only have 1 button, to right click, left finger has to physically lift from the mouse.

Because they don't have unlimited resources to convert all their games at once ? Those games listed are the ones you can buy and play NOW.

They are updating the Mac games list every Wednesday with new games apparently so expect TF2 next and then more every week.

Have to say my Mac Mini struggles with Portal ... looks like I'll be upgrading to something a bit meatier and chucking the Mini under my TV ;)

Hidden inside this news - at least as far as the Telegraph are concerned, they also announced Linux support in the coming months. Clicky

As for the games list, it is being phased in - the games that are available are the ones that have already had the steam cloud treatment I believe. HL2 and the episodes aren't holding your save games in the cloud yet.

As for the mouse issue - use a different mouse. If you want to game on your mac, a £5 optical mouse from Asda will do fine!

Yeah, like the typical Mac user is going to be seen dead using a bargain bin Asda mouse

The list in the article is of the current Steam Play titles, that is, those that you only have to buy once to have access on both PC and Mac. Other games that are available (HL2, L4D2, TF2) you would currently have to purchase twice to play on both platforms.
As for nothing interesting, Civ4 Complete Ed sounds damn good

go Valve! this is what makes then great, if it was an Apple product you'd have to the same game twice. Once for PC and again for Mac ale iphone/ipad.
Now, if they were to drop the price on Core i macbook pro I'd pick one up.

Id agree, this is great news for mac users, however I do feel that the hardware will be an unfortunate limitation due to the use of non gaming gfx cards often used in Mac's, least it adds a small boost running it native than compared to the likes of WINE.
