^^ A million times this. My favourite movie. Ever. Must've watched it (no joke) 15 times by now.

Game of Thrones
8/10
Great series, good, solid plot (not having read the book), and decent acting.
THOUGH the beginning is a bit "blink and you'll miss it and spend the next two episodes trying to figure out WTF is going on" if you haven't read the book. At least I assume it's better in the book.
Not as OTT as Spartacus, not quite as serious as Rome, and (surprise) not set in rome.

Actually, the series pretty much follows the book line by line - even most of the dialogue is lifted word-for-word out of the book. The whole of the first book really just serves to introduce the important families and dynamics which then get played out over subsequent books.

The advantage of the book, though, is that you read it slower, so it's less "blink and you'll miss it" than the series.

Plus, I suppose that if you're reading it, you're not talking to the missus at the same time (books kinda "pause" whenever you talk or listen to someone).
Good to know that it stays loyal though... +rep

The Dish 6/10
-1 point for the DVD-Version beeing crappy.

No available subtitles (for the wife) means I had to watch it in German, which takes a lot of the the "Aussie-Fun" out of it.
Also needs a rerelease on Bluray as the DVD has a quality like a VHS-tape...

errr, I guess it was the Antonio Banderas one then?

There should be a marker in IMDB "this is a porno"

This one isn't! http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096923/

The adjustment bureau 7/10 (mostly just because I wanna bone emily blunt)
Sucker Punch 4/10 Jeez can I have my 2 hours or whatever it was back? Maybe it's because I had a mild headache at the time, but this film just seemed to drag on, and then when it ended I was like right... Maybe I was expecting it to be awesome and then just got majorly let down.
Rio 5/10 meh. Not sure I can say 'worth watching'.

I Am Number Four - 5/10

To be honest the only good parts of this film are Timothy Olyphant's acting and the two lead girls... Teresa Palmer's character (Number Six) was easily better than the leading guy but she was only in the film for what felt like 20 mins

The Adjustment Bureau - 7/10

I quite enjoyed this one! It felt far too rushed at the end, but overall it kept me interested all the way through with great acting all around too. I guess most movie adaptations of Philip K. Dick short stories are right up my alley

Transformers Dark of the moon: 6/10
Quite enjoyed it, good special effects. Story not as good. Lots of explosion porn and giant robots made up for it.

Sorcerers Apprentice 8/10
one of my favourite movies recently, pretty cool with a lot of geeky things thrown in

Angel-A 6/10
Luc Besson for script and production, but alas not as director, and it shows.
Gets to be very lenghty over time, but in between are moments of brilliance and great shots of Paris.

It's not out as BluRay (well, not here anyway) but you really only notice in the ending titles as the black-and-white contrast works very well to hide the deficites in resolution.

The Warriors Way (7 /10)

Enjoyable, even if the CGI is slightly annoying at times.

14 Blades (8/10)

Brilliant film, if you like your period martial arts films (subbed only).

Just watched Rango, and must say I enjoyed it
Had an alright story, with a decent set of voice actors. And had a couple of really laugh out loud, genuinely hilarious moments, I recommend it

Saw Green Lantern, wasn't bad. Similar to Superman Returns in many ways, but not quite as good. Special effects were pretty bad.. The beginning sequence in particular looked like it was done with Unreal Engine 3 or something.

6.5/10?

I didn't say it was bad, I just didn't "get" it

Why did you like it so much? Maybe there's something I'm missing
