    Power Supply

Cooler Master Silent Pro 700 Watt
    http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=4202

Silent Pro M series delivers up to 50A of power on a single +12V rail, enough power to start up a car. Ample connectors including PCI-e 6 + 2 pins ensure compatibility with the latest high-end systems. The power supply operates at minimal noise levels thanks to Cooler Master’s silent formula. This silent formula which comprises of patented hybrid copper plus aluminum heat sink, anti-vibration padding and intelligent fans.

    Optional FAN

Cooler Master MegaFlow 200 Blue LED
    http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6456

With the constant development of hardware getting better and better, the energy consumption of your computer rises because you want to get the full performance. Due to this the heat increases and so the requirements of your fan rise as well. To integrate several fans is not the right solution because your computer will get very, very noisy. Bigger fans are the optimal solution for modern high-tech systems. The MegaFlow fan has a diameter of 200mm and so it has a displacement volume of 184 m3/h - twice the volume of 140mm fans.

Gluing the EA Command & Conquer 4 Tiberian Twilight game posters onto the aluminium suitcase and protecting the posters with some Sadipal stationary papers. The Sadipal stationary papers is normally used to protect books in the daily use, but here I use it to protect the posters and it also gives the posters an nice glossy finish which makes the surface of the case mod look nice.

This looks really cool, great job. +rep

Looks like it could get quite hot, though. What temps do you get?

    Hi TCoZ

It's not getting that hot in the box, the heat form the monitor itself will disappear out of it like in a normal monitor.

The meaning with the "Cooling - Noise reduction - Hardware Protection" shield is most of all if I not use the case mod at home like on a LAN-Party so that others not get their fingers into the hardware and there a falling small parts into the case mod itself, since that would not be nice. But also when you have been to a LAN-Party so you know that the whole hall could be very hot so I plan to use this shield to cool down the case mod. Also I maybe will make more holes and place more fans into the shield.

Currently I just use the Intel BOX CPU Cooler but I'm planning to upgrade this with a Thermalright AXP-140 RT - 140mm HTPC CPU Cooler.

    - Low profile CPU cooler with down draft style of air cooling makes it perfect for HTPC; heasink total height is 70.2 mm.

    - Support intel Socket 775 / 1366 / 1156 and AMD Socket AM2 / AM3

    - Down draft air flow helps to cool CPU surroundings such as MOSFET and North Bridge chipset producing a general reduction in temperature inside your computer case.

    - Large surface area for cooling (140mm x 140mm) with option to install a 120mm fan or a 140mm silent fan, balancing noise and performance to suit your preference.

    - Six nickel-plated heatpipes to reduce oxidation effect, maintaining top performance for long term usage.

    - Features an all copper base and soldering technology that has each heatsink fins soldered to the heatpipes for a definite contact in producing high efficiency rate of heat transfer.

    - Include 140mm 11 fins Large airflow fan (1500RPM).

For the great Football Fever Contest I have decided to make a new Hardware Protection shield
with the Cooler Master, EVGA, and TechPowerUp! brand names/logo built into a South Africa
    Football Globe.

First of all I have made some drawings of some football pictures on a Plexiglas plate, later on I have used
the saw you could see in the pictures to cut the football art work out of the new Cooling - Noise reduction
    - Hardware Protection shield.

In the next step I have cut some football players out of a 6 mm Plexiglas plate.

I love the idea! I think i've got a winner on the kinda thing I want to try at last. Certainly would suit my lack of space.

Nicely done mod and well presented too!

    Hi SPNKR,

I just buyed the aluminums suitcase case at the local construction marked.

    The aluminum suitcase measures 46 x 33 x 15 cm and the monitor I have used is a 19".

If you would build a aluminums suitcase case by your self then you should go for the LCD monitor size first and then find a case.

You can Google to find a case or maybe go to the local construction marked to find a case.

Also you could go for the case and then find a monitor to fit.

I have build up several of this aluminum suitcase case mods but this is the first with an LCD installed.

The very first one I built up was this one:

    LAN-Party Laptop 2006

    Thanks for reply!

Yea, I looked on google, I would probably go with a pelican or pelican storm case cause they look pretty cool. Anyways, cool mod, I may have to steal your idea at some point in the future.

    Have Fun!
