Where is my prize? - Take Two

OK, I recieved an email from Emily at Dennis publishing about winning the Corsair Prize Bundle.
It has been 6 weeks, and I did email her last week, with no reply as yet.
I have also emailed the Editor or Custom PC/Bit-Tech and PM'd a admin on here, all without reply.

I am trying to wonder whether I am still receiving my prize, and as I asked, can someone track it to find out.

So far, I find it strange that no one replies from within the Dennis/Cutsom PC and Bit-Tech company to an email about someone winning a prize which they premoted.

Any explanation or update on what is happening??

Sounds like Dennis has done a deal with a company that has a crazy or lazy communications department. Someone at Dennis probably shouting at Corsair and they are like...

Wuh?

Mine was a bit late coming but Emily kept chasing for me with the company providing the prize.

Just give her a short and polite nudge every now and then to keep the prize sponsors in check.

Be patient, it's a free win!

Well, tired of trying to contact people now, so I assume it'll either turn up one day, or I am no longer receiving it.
Quite strange how it would seem no one at Dennis Publishing has bothered to reply.

To me, it just looks very badly organized, also a let down to the people entering competitions.

Ha! The problem here is someone told you that you won! Nobody contacted me to let me know I'd won a sapphire 5870 vapour x last year n I forgot to check back on the forum to see who won. I sat in happy oblivion for weeks on end until the day they were released and a kind gentleman rang me to confirm my delivery address as he was about to post it over. Only had to wait three days from then till it was delivered! :-)

More emails sent the other day, and still no reply.
Obviously all on holiday or sacked by the looks of it.

Contacted Corsair this afternoon, as no one from Dennis, Bit-Tech/Custom PC will respond.

Hi Bazz. Let me take a look into this - I've not had an email or PM from you, but I'll get on to Emily and find out what's going on.

Thanks Alex, I can confirm that Emily phoned me about an hour ago to confirm that it should be with me within 2 weeks.

Seems strange that I had emailed sveral people, and nothing got through, must be the dreaded Gmail servers again.

Recieved today, would show pictures, but the H50 cooler and the 650W PSU already fitted.
DDR3 will, sorry to say, go on sale on eBay

I'm forwarding your complaint on to the relevant people, but can you tell us a bit more about which competition you won it in and when you got the confirmation?

Hi there

I believe that the email actually said that you needed to reply before 19 November (2010) with your name, address and phone number.

The 6-8 week delay was mentioned because we use an external agency to manage the subscriptions. If you hadn't received your first issue of the subscription within 6-8 of us confirming your details had been sent on, we asked you to get in touch so we could chase the issue on your behalf.

However, we'll try to give you another chance to get your prize. I've sent you a PM asking for your real name and email address so our admin lady can ask again for your details and try to set up your free subscription.

Corsair H50 failed, but Corsair refusing to replace....................WTF!

Oh well, I had a year of using it

Time to start hunting for a new PSU, just in case that fails too.
