Looks like a GCSE design project. Not a grade A* either. That screen hinge looks like a strong sneeze would break it.

Apart from the colour, I think this is a good idea. I use a curved keyboard and it does make a difference.

Maybe it's the early design stage thats putting people off but you can see a lot of potential for comfort and especially airflow to the components.

you say how it wouldn't fin in an existing laptop bag, but imagine how it would curve around your leg in the right bag!

I don't want 3D from my laptop anyway. I'll take the OLED display though.

Looks crap imo, and really uncomfortable to use.

The point about better airflow is only relevant if its on a desk if its sat on your lap then it'll be worse than a normal lappy as it'll wrap around your legs.

they would have done a lot better if they built it using black or silver plastic, the blue makes it look like a kids toy at best.

Seconded. I want to kick its face off, by which I mean touch it gently so the screen falls off. Is this a serious concept design? What's with the weird misshapen iPod touch in the middle of the weird misshapen keyboard? Why is the screen showing a Mac OS X desktop when the design is as far from Apple's clean lines as is humanly possible? Why is it such a horrendous colour? How much do you think it will cost them to get someone to build a bespoke curved motherboard? So many questions, so little time to ridicule it.

Looks like a great idea, barring the color choice.

If anyone here owns a so-called 'ergonomic keyboard', congratulations - that's exactly what that is. Your hands do not naturally fall the way a standard keyboard wants them to, which is why people with reduced resistance to RSI are recommended things like this. There's nothing wrong with the curved keyboard concept, and it's pretty plain the rest of it is pure technology demonstrator, so don't expect horrible colours and fragile hinges to see production if the rest of it does...

ya actually I like the concept and it would have better airflow under the laptop which would help in cooling too.

Will a curved laptop fit nicely in my bag? No!

Plus it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
