Im sure they could garner more interest for the 3rd game on PC if they released the 2nd game on PC first

    dear lionhead,

please make fable 2 for pc - especially as you are considering the 3rd for the platform, would be silly to keep the 2nd one for just the consoles.
the first fable was great fun, and as i don't have a console i would never buy one just for a few games. :)

I remember reading only a few weeks ago how Microsoft are "dedicated to saving PC gaming", that didn't last long did it, not really surprising though tbh. =/

Man devs and publishers are dumb morons, this trend of holding back PC launches for a few weeks because of piracy fools no one. How stupid do they think we are?

I really do not like Microsoft the company at all, to rushing out a gimped console just to beat a competitor to market at the consumers expense, to costly Operating systems, to doing more harm then good to Pc gaming, to being a monopolizing bully, taking others ideas and selling them through sheer marketing hype. I'd love for Ms to just go away.

I like to think when Peter M asked on the Lionhead site "What do you want in Fable 3?" and I posted a "PC version please!" he listened... :)

Let's just hope a PC version of 2 is kicking around as well... Unlikely...

Microsoft realizes how well PC gaming is doing due to SC2 sales and decides it doesn't want the PC overshadowing the 360. Just my conspiracy theory guess but ya I'm very skeptical of Microsofts decisions when it comes to PC gaming.

Also doesn't Microsoft get more profit from a 360 title sale over the PC version? $10 licensing fee? So I'd see why they'd want to delay the PC version.

    Yawn... what a surprise.

I've ranted extensively about this before, but Microsoft hates PC gaming. They despise it because, beyond Windows, they have no effective way to monetise it like they can with the Xbox 360, both in terms of licensing costs and . Games for Windows is, more than anything, actually a way to pressure PC gamers into buying Xboxes, and delaying Fable 3 is a way to maximise sales on the Xbox 360.

YEP, this is just one reason I hate Microsoft, instead of making Pc gaming all it could be they try and move people to the Xbox where they can tightly control content and nickle and dime you for every cent. These companies are pathetic, you would think someone at MS would love to be at the cutting edge and try something on PC that only PC can do, what ever happened to creativity and moving forward?

You guys are way too crazy with your conspiracy theories.

Fable 3 (PC) was most likely delayed because Lionhead wanted as many developers as possible optimising the game for the lead platform (Xbox). It's a lot easier to improve the quality of your game if you have different release dates for different platforms.

Not everything is to do with piracy.

Someone is NAIVE, an article not to long ago confirmed this is indeed the reason, piracy and minimizing the PC. A developer said the real reason is what everyone is saying here. MS makes money off games sold on XBOX, not a penny oN PC, it's not rocket science.
