Try the very good www.tvtool.de it sorts out a load of nVidia TV issues.

Loads of people have had lots of luck with it.

1)Right try cycling your AV modes e.g. AV1 channel , AV2 channel on your television this often does the trick.

2)Sometimes if you use a input port compatable with S-VHS it works so try all scart sockets and all AV channel combinations.

I take cycling through the AV inputs didn't help? My old mans TV was displaying B&W on svideo, until I relised that the AV input had two settings AV2 & AV2S. Once set to AV2S, it was fine. To get to that setting it was just a further cpush of the input button.

AV1 -> AV2 -> AV2S

You get the idea....

The only other idea I can suggest is to check it out with a different cable - maybe a pin is buggered or there's a fault on one of the lines inside the cable.

Err - thought we where talking about your TV, 'vette. If you're dasiy chaining through your VCR that coulr be the problem - it may not be passing the full signal through!

Try taking it out of the chain and plug the svideo feed direct to the TV scart socket that is svideo enabled.

The AV input select button should be on your remote, and will look something like this:

Code:
/--\
|  -->
\--/

dont use the scart then, ull loose any upgrade in passing tru the vcr anyway. so u may as well plug it straight into the back of ur telly....

or just change ur comp output to pal or pal 60

I'm guessing the only reason you're putting it through the VCR is to get an RF output to plug in the ariel socket?

Have you tried just sticking it direct to the AV socket?

If it works that way you could get a Scart switch box. You'd have to make sure that it passed Svideo signals though, bit TBH I don't think that's a problem as most of them do.

You did not say it was through your video player that is why it does not work, just try it on a television and it may work.

You could buy a scart switch box from maplins that what my brother does with his computer and TV.

The scart in the video player is not passing the chrominance part of the signal.
