    At last this has been shutdown limewire gone for good. For some a good thing and for some a bad thing.

    I remember using Limewire years ago on my friends PC, horrible software, he got a virus called ohnoes.exe once, that made me chuckle and lives on to this day as "OH NOES!" when something goes wrong.

    Does anyone still use this software though, surely everyone who pirates just uses torrents these days?

    ive seen people say i use limewire all the time and ive never downloaded a virus.

    i break out laughing everytime and ask hows your PC ? repsonse is oh its slow and sometimes doesnt work or i get a load of pop-ups lol.

    I don't know about the viruses, but it's a rampant source for child porn, getting rid of limewire and stopping some pedo bast*rd form getting his kicks can only be a good thing..

    i remember copying my gfs music folder from her mac to my windows to back up (hadnt thought of limewire viruses at the time) and mcaffee finding 11 viruses in the folder, scarey popup that lol

    Wonder if this takes down Frostwire as well, since it's the open-source version. Think they both operated on the same networks, though.
