When you stab somebody and take their dogtag does it become available to use if you haven't unlocked it?

Cheers bro, yea will take getting used 2, not played FPS on PC since my days of CS many years ago, the WASD keys and a slow mouse make for a noob right now lol

Is it just me but if you do not have internet connection or it fails, does it mean you cannot play BF3 through the HDD? as it keeps bringing me to battlelog/internet even to play storymode.

I've played the campaign offline.

AFAIK you get the battlelog page anyways whether on or offline and just access the campaign that way.

If that's not working have you tried going directly to BF3 via the Start menu rather than via origin?

Or finally I think if you want to log onto Origin without and internet connection you will need to have 'remember me' selected by your password. Not 100% on that though or whether you have to have the password remembered while online at some point.

Tbh, you should probably buy the DLC as the new maps are leagues ahead of the vanilla ones. Vanilla maps are still in the CPC server's rotation however, so you should be able to join when those are up.

Yup, it's a great gun to fire while strafing. If you can master fire+strafing almost all fire fights will end up in your favor

Have stingers been upgraded recently? I played a round of Gulf of Oman earlier today and took down about six choppers, with about 16 kills between them.

Not that I know of... maybe they were getting overwhelmed and you nabbed them on the ecm/flare reload? Nice kills though

I find myself getting killed more often by claymores now Really must remember to scan the floor before waltzing in lol

It take a while to get used to BF3, I would say at least 10 hours before you should be getting average scores
