Was a fun game for sure aside from all the insta-pistol-shot-to-the-knee-through-15-walls, deaths.

Logged on today and did the 140mb update I was asked to do. Since then I can't play on anything due to: ''Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'Digi_BF' (for 0 minutes) ... RESTRICTION: Corrupted File/Memory [98080696]''

Did manual pbsetup and update it but still no luck. 100's of others posted the same problem in tech forum after the update so I guess I just gotta wait for a fix. SIGH.

Did you go into the BF3 game folder and run PBsetup?

I suggest u do that.

First things, DICE know about it saw a Twitter post earlier. Secondly completely forgot that you where in the game with us lol Oops. Sorry bro.

And back to the issue. Just updated going to give it a go.

I can play for a few minutes at a time then PB kicks me like everyone else. I was having a good round too. Plenty of kills, so great shooting by me, oh and three guys camping in the same building.

Go in, kill medic outside. Kill other engineer inside. Medic comes back shoots me in the back. Go back to building, shoot medic, engineer and the support that wasn't looking.

Building cleared then kick!!

Had to reset my router last night and didn't turn off UPnP on the router. Played one game and then got kicked halfway through. Turned off UPnP on the router and I haven't had the problem since.

Does anyone know if the UPnP issue was resolved by Dice or is this still an on going issue for some users?

Well, the only option is to play on PB disabled servers but I've just tried that for 3 maps and had nothing but dodgy games so I'm going to leave it there until the problem is fixed.

This is an update which doesnt seem to address the issues with UPnP. Though I didn't know there where any.

I would not go on any non PB Servers simply to play BF3, one they are unrestricted. Imagine that you play one round. And without realising it first kill nets you so many points you end up Colonel Service Star 100 in seconds. Would you be pleased? I doubt it.

They will resolve the issue in due time. I'm sure some people have other games to play. And or it is Valentines Day. I will be offline till Wednesday afternoon/evening shortly xD
