They also work like JAVs so you can lock on and fire on vehicles yourself if you have direct line of sight.

However, if aircraft are lit up by your team you can then hit the enemy in the air as well, or vehicles out of the line of sight.

Only way it's gonna happen is if someone on your squad is doing soflam and you guided shell, otherwise nobody gives a toss.

2 add to this more directly; you can only lock on to ground targets - other tanks/IFV's/jeeps etc - if something isn't laser designated by either a SOFLAM or a CITV unlocked 3rd seater. Or a heli with a laser painter afaik.

I flew the F35's tonight and actually got a positive K/d. However I was using beam scanning and heat seekers like a bitch but kills are kills



edit: and a lot of dumb havoc pilots, hover mode near an enemy heli = winning (unless they see you, then you're boned)

Interestingly, playing on CPC has made a much more effective player. My SPM goes up during regular matches now.

Guess I got better.

Damavand can be done with either the Z-11 or the AH-6.... but can you do it with the Venom?

Sadly, since the origin updates, I've not been able to connect to any games of late. I can connect for 2-5 minutes and then my connections times out, but usually I cannot even connect to a server or I get disconnected from EA Online. Not had these problems before, even back in the Alpha and Beta. Barely managed to get any gametime over the last week or so.
