Those copper pipes are Awesome! Man I love those.. Really neat bend/placed, too. I hope the sanding of those bend-wrinkles is not going to be a pain in the ass.. Nice work.

The pipes will get polished and after that they will get a coat of nickel on them so they will fit with the rest of the case ^^

There is too much awesomeness here and not enough stars.
The pipes will look terrific when plated. I am interested in how a seal is made in the connectors. Can you show/tell us? Is the end of the pipe flared for a compression joint?

I asked him that question about a month ago. He is using Bitspower BP-MBWP-C47 fittings with 12mm OD copper.

One concern I have is the transference of pump vibration to the case using solid lines. I've done this before, and the pump vibrations really carried to the rest of the case. Using some tubing in and out of the pump really helps with this.

The build is coming along nicely and is looking great.

I just ran into a major problem. The copper tubing I can get here in the good old USA is 1/2" OD, which is 12.4mm OD (by my calipers). The fittings are 12mm ID, so the hard lined copper is a no go for me. The copper in countries that use the metric system must be 12mm OD as the OP stated he is using. The 1/2" OD copper tubing here won't go into the fittings. Figured I'd give others a heads up.

@Voigts -Yeah, US standard plays a lot of monkey numbers. A 2x4 is 1 1/2"x3 7/16", for example.
Maybe Bitspower will see this and take the hint. They have in the past. You might just see US diameter fittings some day.

I know so this is why i will use tubing in the bottom of the case

There are always the koolance pipe fittings think they have the US measurements .

if you get some autosol or copper polish you can make the pipes almost pink (its a dirty job but worth the effort)

Today irecieved a package from Marnix AKA UgotHeinzzd
With Commandant nr4 and some extra O-rings for the fittings.

When i came home i immediately started with polishing the pipes
Copper pipes naturel

Copper pipes sanded to 1000 grid.

Copper pipes polished with Commandant nr4.

and the result it is just WAUW ^^


Started with the pipes in the case that where sanded already.



I really love the result of it i am falling in love with it
