please dont plate those pipes. clear coat them now while they are still brilliant to lock in that wonderful copper sheen.

wow... great mod
the copper tubes look great :Pnot to mention the mid plates. one thing i didn't like to see was the nylon nuts fixing the reservoir. I would have like to see it fixed with screws. or at least so that you couldn't see the threaded rods. |

Your going to make me break down one of these days and find some 12mm OD copper as sweet as that looks.
As sweet as that copper looks, with all of the chrome fittings, I can see why you would nickel plate the tubing. It will look incredible once done and polished.

I'd say it would look great either way.
About the midplate. ![]() aren't you goint to reinforce that? using a alu corner would do the trick. or cutting the rest of the original midplate and fixing it to the plexi. |
