my old GA-P31-DS3L has 2Gb Corsair RAM, an Nvidia Quadro FX1800, and an E2140 slightly overclocked to 2.72GHz without overvolting.
- Any suggestions for a (cheap) CPU upgrade? (video editing only on this - no games )
- I'm waiting a few weeks/months before building a new i7 930 and the rev2 X58 UD3R gets it's bios sorted out. ( don't want to go Asus for this build )

For video editing you'll appreciate a quid core with 12MB cashe. Here's the CPU support list, all C2Quads are supported: http://www.gigabyte.com/support-down....aspx?pid=2615 . Try to get one on ebay.
