They should put Lord of the Rings Online on there. I might download it then.

    So...a review? Or at least a short-look-into?

So... We get to play a free game, and I'll only buy things in the game if I want to? I won't mind to play IF the people that pay for the "extras" don't have an unbelievable advantage.

any of these games any good? I haven't heard of any of them and don't fancy hours of trawling through review's that were probably out of date before they were published...

    There is no spoon.

Anyway; Downloading Global Agenda very, very slowly, (Thank you, TalkTalk. For your little leaving gift of Dialup Speeds)

I can see why the games being on Steam would be a good thing. I wouldn't've looked at it otherwise.

I've been playing Spiral Knights since last month. It's quite fun, a bit like a cross between a Zelda game and Phantasy Star Online (with click, click, click combos). However there is an in game energy system which is used for both playing AND progressing in the game, which means you are limited to 90 minutes of play of a couple of low level items crafted per day. Rather than restrict content, it restricts the playtime of free players - whether or not you are OK with that is up to you :)

Free-To-Play is totally cool, even if its just basically overglorified demos (there's always limitations acting as incentives to "upgrade" the game to paid status).
