:\ Average Windows- $3.83... it makes me a little sad to see fellow Windows users being so cheap.

    notch is the minecraft dev, he's a multi-millionaire :D

I don't know how those averages are being calculated, you don't choose Windows/Mac/Linux anywhere whatsoever when ordering HIB #3. And getting the Steam key shouldn't automatically place the statistic into Windows either as Steam isn't platform specific. The only thing it can count are the individual download links but how accurate is this really?

    97,580Purchases #:

    Average purchase: $4.70
    Average Windows: $3.81
    Average Mac: $6.15
    Average Linux: $10.85

Shows how greedy windows users are :/

Or shows that the huge donations which skew the mean are disproportionately from linux or mac users.
Or shows that windows users tend to have a lower income (and thus a lower demand for most goods).
Or shows that windows users are conditioned to expect lower software prices than mac users.
Or shows that linux users are much more likely to pay high prices when it's presented as charitable.
Or that's 3.81 on average that would've gone unspent (and thus unearned by the devs) because people didn't value the games as highly as their price or didnt know about them.

Please stop speculating on such a woefully inadequate dataset.

@Salty: Haven't bought this one, but, in the previous 2, they used the incredibly high-tech method of asking you which OS you wanted your pruchase to count for. :)

It's only 3 months since the FrozenByte bundle, which itself was only 4 months after HumbleBundle 2. There really should be more time between these events - say 6 months - to reduce donor fatigue and keep this event special.

You have to select an OS prior to download and you can set which OS to "credit" at the bottom of your HB download page.

How well do these games function on a trackpad on a laptop?

I know Crayon Physics is tricky, as a lot of it is timebased on your drawing stuff which can be hazardous when playing on the train!

I think Hammerfight would be almost impossible on a trackpad, as it takes a lot of fiddling just to get it to work smoothly with a mouse (I found anyway)

And yet it works, will work fine as it's all keyboard controlled, as is VVVVVVV

If you paid over $4.81 for the Bundle, you get the whole second one (with another 5 whole games in it) free, as well as Steel Storm regardless.

I don't know about you but I am going to buy another code. Wouldn't feel right otherwise.

Given that Crayon Physics is £15 on Steam it would be rude not to! I'd be more interested to see the average split between games/charity than per platform tbh...

They're automatically added to the original steam code, you have one code for the whole bundle.
