Finally got my project more or less finished today!
![]() The last days I have spent laying down clear coats. The first one went very well. After the first coat I added the decals. That coat were then sanded more or less flat over the decals. After that I added a third coat to completely embed the decals. This is where the problems started to return. As you can see the paint suddenly decided to start wrinkling over the decals. At first I though it was the decal itself that started wrinkling, but it turns out that it was the previous coat that reacted. I thought 2K paint were inert when it was dry. Apparently it's not... ![]() Luckily the clear coat hardened pretty well, and didn't lift the decal, so it was simply a matter of sanding it smooth after the last coat was dry. It's still not perfect, but I don't want to sand it any more until it's completely dry. I'll probably wait a few months and do a re-polish. ![]() So, here is the final result: I'll try to take a better picture tomorrow when the light conditions are better. (This is a slightly dark picture that I tried to adjust to represent how it looks in real life) Quote:

As promised, some more pictures
:That's the main difference between Fender and Squire as far as I have seen. The frets on the fenders I have seen have been really nice and smooth, while the ends of the frets on Squires tend to be really sharp.
