I've been running this through my head since the begining of the year. I knew that AMD would soon be releasing an eight core CPU code-named: Bulldozer. I also knew that I had to do a tribute mod too.

My very first sketches have always started with the Cooler Master HAF 912.

Within a few minutes I quickly stripped the whole thing down

My choice of paint just has to be John Deere Yellow

And it goes on easy and looks incredible

I always love to have strong contrasting colors within the case

I also strive for color consistency with matching bay drive covers too

Then I stack two Cooler Master 120mm fans for the intake

I didn't recolor the black plastic because it was already perfect

I'll be customizing the right panel next

As usual, I painted the DVD drive too

    More to Come

    I cut the window out

And slapped on a coat of paint

Time to work on the right panel. I'm going to be adding a couple of intake fans. The first is a slim 120mm behind the processor

I cut from the inside out as to not damage the paint if I lose control of the hole saw

My fan of choice is usually made by Scythe

Here it is mounted. Because I went with a larger 120mm fan, I'll need to put the panel on first then screw it in place. The size of the fan interferes with the panels' slide latch

I'll dress up the outside soon enough

But first I'll need to cut out a spot for a 92mm fan behind the hard drive cage. Unfortunately, I don't have a hole saw that size available just yet...

Looks like a worthy use of a HAF case. You putting a Bulldozer system when it's out?

Off to a good start, yellow and black is always a winning colour combo.

I wouldn't hold your breath on Bulldozer, I've had my build ready since mid June waiting for it and there's still no signs of it. Bulldozers had more delays than the London underground.

I love AMD stuff but if it doesn't arrive very soon my next project will be Intel based.

AMD is sending me the 8 core processor and a video card

OCZ is sending me the new 1TB Revo Hybrid PCIe 4x card

Enermax is sending me an 80 plus Platinum PSU

I'm working with Swiftech to get a water-cooling setup

Nice one on the sponsorship products! And what a great colour combo, keeping an eye on this for sure.

I know you. You will have the case done before any of the kit shows up.
Will anything made by Tonka be sacrificed to create your new minion?

I picked up this excavator ride on toy at K-Mart for $40

Of which I removed the base with treads

And it's a perfect fit!! I just have to touch up the paint.

I used several rivets to attach the case to the treaded base

But then I realized that I choked off the PSU's air intake

So, I decided to drill out the holes in the plastic. I can't quite get the drill into all of the holes, but I'll have a really awesome power supply provided by Enermax that will have no trouble getting enough air

Then I got this air vent at Lowes for $6

It just needed to be cut to fit the right panel CPU intake and then a little paint to match

I think the excavator needs to be resprayed with your yellow, other than that it looks wonderful!

^I will. I also have to make it look a little more realistic too
    -------------------------------------------

    I bought a new 92mm hole saw

And then cut the second intake

The hard drive intake is perfect, but the CPU wound up being a bit off

I added the vent. I still need to bondo the edges and paint the hinges yellow

I'll still have to paint the other grill yellow too

I bought this bulldozer shovel off ebay. It came from a Tonka T-9.

As you see it'll be a perfect fit

First I trimmed off the excess.....

.....to make it attach to the front bezel and not the side panel. That way it won't interfere with the sliding door

I spent a while sanding off the 40 year old paint and rust

Then gave it a nice smooth coat of new black paint

Next I'll be cutting the panel striping

And adding the number 8 to the left panel. What do you think it signifies?

Thank you. I finally have a day off today after 7 straight and plan to use it wisely.

I added the number eight and some striping to the lefft side

I got back to finishing the vents, but still need to fix the edges and stripe this side too

I attached the shovel to the front bezel

    And that's on.

Still more to do, for sure
