Rfactor with realfeel is really nice. I race 99% of the time on that sim, cant say i like Iracing, tried it but im not taken with it. The costs are insane also.

This is what im wetting my knickers about latey, i think its gonna be really really good.

So logitech and fanatec both report reverse FFB? So why is it only an issue with fFactor then? Never had probs with any other racing game.

Never heard of fanatecs having a problem. It's certainly a problem with rfactor as it dosen't check which direction force feedback works like other games do.

Well it's just rFactor so it's not a problem cos that is so old I don't play it. Just that when I tried it again recently to see why the game is so hyped, I totally don't get it. I would have to disable FF in order to play it and it just ain't worth it. It's not the fanatec with the problem though as I said. I have a logitech wheel and fanatec and rfactor behaves the same insane way with both. Basically wheel centring is reversed so the wheel is actually repelled as it gets near the centre.

Never had any such problems. I think rFactor is more popular amongst single seater/open wheeler sim fans because just about every other sim managed to balls it up. Even project cars hasn't got the formula cars right yet, but much better than some of the others so far.

I guess no one plays it with FF on...

I use realfeel FFB with rfactor. Admittidly some times i have to reverse the FFB but its very easy to identify what needs doing on. The FFB overall is very very good, just dont use the standard FFB

I have no such dramas with Rfactor, its a very easy to use sim, mountains of really great mods and tracks and have used it for the past 5 years. Atm Rfactor 2 isnt even as close to being as good as Rfactor 1 with the expection of the FFB which in Rfactor 2 is just amazing. Running a G27 wheel and pedal set,Obutto rig with triple screens and really hoping i can afford the Fanatec Clubsports to go with the Logitech wheel.

Any of you guys use/ever have Race2play.com?? I run on there as Simon Shepherd.

Do you have the wheel software installed? Check for a setting that reverses the wheel feedback. (i forget the technical term!)

Also check the game control menus for an option that inverts it.

It's certainly not like that for me and most probably works fine for most so there should hopefully be a setting somewhere you can change

Gabkicks has yet to learn the way of the Dremel
rfactor + historx (realfeel) and other mods that use realfeel give me better ffb than pcars, currently. Hopefully that won't be the case much longer.

Offtopic post but can we please have a hotlaps server for rfactor?, I really want to put my laps against some users here, there seems to be a good few of you with rfactor and i'd love to compare setups on some mods.

I'm playing F1 1991 league edition atm, it was the first mod I played competitively and at magny cours 1992 config.

No S197 Mustang? That's unusual. The Falcon is a good call, as is the Sierra.... but no Boss 302, or Shelby? WTF? At least they picked a 66 and not the obligatory 68.

That track has scenery.

It's a shame Project cars doesn't support 3d glasses. Adds enormously to a racing sim.
