    Hey everyone!

Im new here on Bit-Tech. My name is Johan Nyman, 19 years old and living in Sweden. But enough with that. Here Im gonna show you my build that I call Cold Winter. This is my second real project. Maybe Ill post my first build later. Im almost completly done with this project so I will post pictures for some days ahead.

But now Ill start. The idea of this build started when I found this piece of acrylic while I was building on my first project. My first thought was to build something of this.

So I got some help from a friend to make some plates for it and it turned out like this.

Now to the hardware. When I started to experiment with this I used an old Socket A micro-atx. But then I upgraded to a Asus AT3IonT-i Deluxe. It worked for 1080p movies but I wanted to play some games. So now I bought the Asus F1A75-i Deluxe and the AMD A8-3850.

Now back to the case. I needed some airflow through it so I made a 120mm hole in the front, I also bought a 20x4 LCD for the front.

And then I tried out how the whole thing would look.

And then I made some holes for the i/o panel and a 92mm fan.

This is with the old Socket A board.

And then I got the plates powdercoated white.

This is it for today. You get the next load of pictures tomorrow. Hope you like it!

Within Nine images; you've gone from a curved sheet of standard perspex, to what's basically a complete PC case. o.o

    Awesome little Design, however.

    2nd Update

Hello again! Today I will post some pictures of how I started to experiment with some better hardware. I dont have this hardware right now, Ill come to that later on.

The LCD is a 4x20 with white backlight. I bought it from LCDModkit.com. Really cheap and good.

I bought some white and blue sleeve and started to sleeve all the cables. Because its an external psu for the Asus AT3IonT-i Deluxe I didnt have much to sleeve, just the sata cables, fan cables.

I wanted to get a "cold" feeling of the case. So I bought a 120mm Nexus fan with white leds and also 3 seperate leds for the case. And the power button is also with white leds.

(Here the LCD looks more blue but its the camera, or bad cameraman haha)

And here is a picture of how it looked when I started with the case. This is with the Socket A motherboard. Dumped that pretty quick haha.

And here is the Asus AT3IonT-i Deluxe board with a 80mm fan.

Then I got a cheap Intel ssd from a friend to use as a OS disk. So this is how I mounted the motherboard and ssd.

And then I made a white plate for the ssd.

A little sneakpeak of the case in the three parts.

    More updates coming tomorrow!

    Thanks
    /Johan Nyman

    Hello again.
Thank you for all the nice comments! I also updated my first post with some more pictures so check it out!

Today Im going to show you some pictures of how the case looked with everything completed with the Asus AT3Iont-i Deluxe. This is a computer I use as my main and now I have better hardware than the AT3Iont-i Deluxe and I will come to that later on. But here is the pictures of Cold Winter "V.1".

The last picture in my post before you see many cables in the bottom. So I used some soundproofing pads, dont know if they are called that though, my english is not so good. But here is how it looks, I can assure you that it looks better than without it.

Here is how the backplate turned out. The cooling I had for the AT3IonT-i system was an 80mm fan on the motherboard, 120mm in the front for intake and then a 92mm at the back.

Thought I needed to show the cable layout and so, so here is some pictures of that. The storage disk is missing on this first picture but I think you now where its place is.

And this is it for today. I need to have something to show you tomorrow. ;)
Hope you like it. And thanks again for all the nice comments. See you tomorrow!
