Change language

I've tried google.

I know it should just be as easy as changing the format under regions and times but we have switched it to english usa and restarted and its still coming up in german.

Is the english language pack missing? How can I find out bearing in mind I'm navigating a German system.

Region option to so say to Windows where you are located in the world. This is just for software. Windows Media Center, Zune, are examples that uses what you put in to deliver you content options, or be able to log-in into your account and stuff.

It doesn't change the system language.

You need to get Windows Language pack (not free) to change the system language, unless you use Windows Ultimate where they are included.

Apparently this is how do it:
Quote:
1. Start -> All Programs --> Windows Update --> Optional Updates.
2. Open optional Updates and go to the section Windows 7 Language Packs.
3. Tick the Language Pack you want and hit OK
4. Proceed with Install Updates
5. Depiction of Windows 7 downloading a Language Pack
6. Automatic install initiated after download

7. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region / Change the display language
8. Switch the display language in the Choose a display language dropdown menu.
9. Click OK
10. Restart your computer
