This project is based on the Apple Cube, some photos of mine I won on eBay

As you can see, the cube is scratched, so the external design gonna change a lot to hide these scratches

That's all, next post i'll show you the disassembly of the cube

I create a paper MB of mine to make all the modifications I need.

And I'll use the bottom of my FD Array case to create the MB tray

the HDD ready (@1080p haha ... :duh:)

the mb (the real !) fix on their tray and here ... :wallbash:
the position of the IO Panel is'nt aligned with the I/O of the MB ...

I can't use a "normal" IO panel, because the "normal" positon is always a little more outside than the mb, i think i'm gonna create my own panel :worried:

and the HDD on the back
    [IMG]

    one overview

    That's it !

    Oh that looks really cool.

Are you planning on sticking with the stock cooler just minus fan or are you heading down the 3rd party route?

I try with google traduction to understand your message but I think google isn't enough geek :D

I'm not sure it will answer your question but i'll install the Samuel 17 fanless on my i5-760 @i3-540. If i can i'll put a slim 120mm fan, but I must be careful with the future position of the slim slot-in.

    Good answer ? :worried:

Awesome job - I'm liking this a lot. I've got a Apple cube that I've wanted to mod for quite a while, so I'm watching this one with interest for sure!!

    Perfect answer.

Good luck. I have a slim 120mm fan on my HTPC and it works very well.

    Hello everybody,

first, thanks a lot for your posts, I realy appreciate !:D

@NoobNeb: about the 7750, I think this card is too powerfull for a htpc (I must be carreful with the consumptuion) and if I can I prefer a single slot card for the space. I plan to use a GT430 or GT520, but if you have any other idea for the card  please let me know !!

@John: sorry for your lost, I wouldn't be in your shoes :)
