Combine Ceiling Turret: video card output box - update 10/05/12
Switch over to to a video cart output box, this part:


The front of the box rounded shape, for it has used aluminum furniture leg diameter of 40mm:

By the way, how to mark a longitudinal line of cut (in a sense parallel to each other and the axis of the cylinder)? Found the way - put angle:

Combine Ceiling Turret: CPU cooler mod - update 22/09/12
For some reasons have to replace CPU cooler by the low-profile Cooler Master Gemini II M4:


Despite the fact that is the lowest Cooler Master cooler, I have to modify it.
First, remove the fan, and then gave it a trapezoidal shape:


In rotate position heat pipes run into the capacitors and the cooler base not in contact to processor




Need to raise the cooler on the heat sink:




Tinkering heat sink and heat pipes, a second attempt




To warm up the heat pipes cooler is placed in a container with boiling water on the gas stove


Heat sink roasting


Cooler assembled


Modified CM Gemini II M4 tests on OCCT v.3.1.0:
With stock fan - better then original!


Passive –fail (even without load):


With Titan TTC SC-04 blower

Titan’s blower need to be modified - have to reduce its length and cut through inlets for intake air.
