I quite like the tech news on Tweaktown but the reviews are fecking awful. No heatsink removal pics and they never update their game list. They never test with BF3 and when you ask them why? - the "BF3 test is coming later".

He used the EVGA Step Up Program to change his GTX580 Classifieds for GTX680's 2gb versions and then sold those on Market Place so he could get the 4gb versions.

Now that sums up perfectly why I hate air-cooling.

Nice that it comes with oil-paints so you can decorate the heatsinks though.

LOL. I will be looking into this, but I think they can take the Vanilla WB. Best thing for me to do first, is see how far they OC, and then I can see if these will need a WB to keep temps under the 70C threshold, that seems to down clock the cards, when they get to 70C.

What do you mean?

I will be posting benchmarks of what VRAM usage they use in demanding games like BF3 & Crysis 2 etc.

Think this Clip says it all.
/QUOTE]

Looks good. 9db would be very quiet. I was impressed with my 680 on air although the temp was 80c+ on default fan setting in game, by increasing fan speed a bit the temp would drop to 60c+ and still be fairly quiet. Now on liquid cooling so there is no noise at all.
That's a drop of 9 dB not an absolute value, as is the drop in temperature...

They can keep that! Lol, still a waterblock would still yield better temps, and won't be a nightmare to fit, especially if you want to go SLI.
