But I am looking forwards to this, superpowers sound like a great deal of entertainment, I'm assuming we can just load our Saints Row: The Third saved games into this one and continue with the same character, since that'd make CharGen a hell of a lot easier. "Oh? You've played the previous game? Lets skip this crap and get into the meat of the matter, then!"

Good article, lot more excited now! I forgot what exactly happened to the Saints license when THQ went down, sounds like most of this was made before that even happened anyway, never mind it still being Volition now.

One of my favourite bits so far in 3 was chasing the Hulk-Johnny thing when you get the superspeed and punch and fireballs, so good. And this sounds like lots more of that kind of thing.

Might actually pop my pre-order cherry on this, if I get 3 finished in time.

I actually love the series as a whole so I am looking forward to it. I just question why they will bring it out before the new consoles though? I would have thought it would have been better to wait till the new Xbox/PS4 is out then bring it out?

I fell in love with the Saint's Row series after the second one. Such an awesome twist on the GTA-style games. The humour is second to none, and I literally laughed pretty much my entire way through the game. The third was even better.

Its DLC that they decided to expand into a full game. So don't expect a new engine or anything

Can't wait for this game, I never played any of the others besides 3 and I picked up 3 on the cheap during a steam sale. Personally I've never finished any game like this or GTA but I played the crap outta saint's row 3 and am now replaying a lil at a time until this comes out. Having super powers during the dlc of 3 was great and it looks like that's coming back in full force with 4. My biggest let down with 3 was how few tattoos there were that seemed to mesh together. If there is one thing I'd like to see overhauled or refined for the new game, it's better tattoos and more of them that can mix well with others.

I'm having my doubts about it now. It looks like it should have been just a DLC for 3 rather than a full game. It looks pretty much the same.

If its going to run on current gen consoles how would it look any better?

Will wait to see PC screenshots before i comment on the looks or lack off.
